This is a comprehensive search enabled database of pesticide chemicals and also trade names. An easy to navigate sidebar takes you through toxicity, uses, registration, company, and distributor. Other links take you to less toxic alternatives, and pesticide tutorial and references.

There are several online glossaries, this one from Berkeley, while not perfect, was the most thorough. Use is quite simple, it is a one page list with a clickable alphabet at the top. It is part of a teacher designed set of pages about insects and teaching entomology.
